Cedar plank salmon
This is a tasty way to enjoy a healthy meal without overheating the kitchen in the heat of summer.
Ingredients
Salmon fillets
Plank of Cedar (up to 12 inches long and 6 inches wide)

Maple Glaze Ingredients:
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tsp grated orange rind
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
salt, pepper and spice to taste
Directions
1. Soak the cedar plank in cold water for minimum of 2 hours.
2. Preheat your barbecue to high (500 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit)
3. Place the plank on the grill and preheat 2 minutes.
4. Place the fillets (plain or marinated) onto the plank, close the barbecue lid and cook 12-15 minutes.
5. Mix all the ingredients for the maple glaze and brush on the fillets while cooking.
5. When cooked, carefully remove from the plank to a platter and serve.
